Google Play Introduces Purchase Requests for Families

Google Play has just announced a new feature for families: Play Store Purchase Requests. This feature allows family members to request permission from a parent to purchase apps or in-app purchases. This feature is part of Google's effort to make sure that purchase workflows are as smooth as possible for families.

Play Store Purchase Requests is available to those who are part of a family group. The family manager is able to configure a shared payment method for the household. When a child wants to buy an app or in-app purchase, they need to submit a request to a parent who then makes the final call. The parent will be able to review the request and decide whether or not to approve it.

The parent will also be able to set a spending limit for their children. This limit can be adjusted at any time and will be applied to all purchases made by the child. This feature is designed to help parents keep track of their children's spending and to ensure that they are not spending too much.

The Play Store Purchase Requests feature also allows parents to see a history of all purchases made by their children. This allows them to easily keep track of what their children are buying and how much they are spending.

Google Play's new Play Store Purchase Requests feature is a great way for families to manage their purchases. It allows parents to set spending limits for their children and to review all purchases made by their children. This feature is designed to make purchase workflows smoother and to help parents keep track of their children's spending.
