GTA V is a multi-platform action-adventure game with an open world. It was developed by the company Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. The game is available on such platforms as Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Rockstar, while leaving the concept of the series unchanged throughout its history, has developed the project in the direction that we just talked about, expanding the list of actions available to the player.
Too perfect for the reality
The game pleases with clear textures and relief surfaces for which parallax mapping is actively used. The time of day and weather in the game changes, and all objects cast correct soft shadows. Cute sunrises and sunsets are complemented by rainbow effects.
General physics of interaction is implemented at the traditional level for such games. The surroundings are mostly static, but the pillars and display cases can be beaten. In story missions with big explosions, GTA 5 shows breathtaking views with a bunch of bits and pieces.
The picture in Rockstar's creation is one of the best of the current generation. With all the unearthly beauties, the system manages to simultaneously calculate the actions of a huge number of objects over a large area.
Rob the bank and play tennis 5/5
It's paradoxical but true: while remaining a whole copy of the previous part, GTA V is played and perceived in a completely new way. The point here is not even in the fact that the number of protagonists has tripled, and they turned into super-interactive guys who can play tennis, meditate and drink whiskey. But their combination is the very magic that gives the game a unique flavor and distinguishes ordinary entertainment from a great project.
The plot rolls slowly, allowing you to savor every moment of being in Los Santos. At first, the tasks surprise with their innocence and variety: ride bicycles with Michael's son, sit in a difficult pose during a yoga session. But then they become more intriguing and unusual.
Shoot, drive, run and much more 4/5
You'll have to get used to the controls because there's a great variety of actions in the game. Here it's possible to do nearly everything that people do in real life and even more. So, you will be able to drive a car or a helicopter, which, anyway, requires definite skills. We want to notice that in the settings, you'll be able to switch to the controls for left-handers. Undoubtedly, it's a big advantage.
There's always something to do
The city reacts to the player's behavior: e.g., on the local Internet, they say something about a bank robbery. Also, in the world of GTA V, there are hidden countless Easter eggs, secrets, and references to cinema, politics, sports, religion, and culture. You need to spend more than a dozen hours in order to find them all. Apart from assignments, you can play tennis or golf, buy your own airfield or strip club with the proceeds from the last robbery, do yoga or jogging. So, this project can be called highly replayable.
So, GTA V is a fundamental sequel and is the perfect example of the creative collaboration of designers, scriptwriters, and programmers. Obviously, the task of the authors was to transfer the user to the other side of the screen, where he would get used to the role of the character. And if we take a closer look, we will see that the changes at all levels of the gameplay that appeared in the new part work for this very purpose. This game is an absolute must-have for any person that likes videogames.
